Celebrations: points, streaks and badges

An optional cheer squad for your leaders. Off by default, and the leaderboard has its own switch.

Celebrations are ClearAim's cheer squad: points, streaks and badges that give leaders a little lift for the work they're already doing. They're optional, and they're there to cheer your leaders on, never to put anyone on the spot.

Turning them on

  • Celebrations are off by default. They're a company setting, and the CEO decides whether to turn them on.
  • Points are personal. Each leader sees their own.
  • The team leaderboard is a separate switch, also off by default. Even with celebrations on, nobody's points are compared unless the CEO turns the leaderboard on too.

You can see the current settings and point values in Settings → Celebrations.

How points work

These are the starting values. Like everything in ClearAim, they're defaults your company can change.

  • Task done: 10 points
  • Check-in sent: 20 points
  • Commitment kept: 15 points
  • KPI logged: 5 points
  • Outcome done: 100 points

Points are added after each check-in. If something matched from a reply is undone, its points come back off, so it all stays fair.

Streaks

Reply to your check-in week after week and your streak grows. The check-in email shows it ("You're on a 5-week streak. Reply to make it 6."), and so does your Monday recap.

Badges

Badges mark the moments worth a high five:

  • Check-in streaks at 3, 6 and 10 weeks
  • Best week yet: your most tasks done in a week this cycle (at least 3, after a couple of weeks)
  • Ten-task week: 10 tasks done in a single week
  • Trending the right way: a KPI that improved five weeks running
  • Promise keeper: three check-ins in a row with every commitment kept
  • Outcome done: for every outcome you reach

Where you'll see them

  • A "+30 points" line when you send the check-in form
  • Your streak in the check-in email
  • New badges in your Got it email and your Monday recap
  • Your points and your next badge on your own page in Team
  • Badges earned this week on the Overview
  • The leaderboard on Insights, only if the CEO has turned it on

With celebrations off, leaders see no points, streak lines or badges. The CEO's Overview simply shows that they're off.

The onboarding cycle

Your first cycle is a warm-up. The next full quarter is the first one that counts for celebrations, so everyone starts fresh together. See Outcomes and cycles.

Why we built it this way

Leaders do their best work when they feel supported. Celebrations lead with progress and wins. They're switched off until a company chooses them, and comparing points is a separate choice on top of that.
